I'm over at Girls on the Grid today. Stop by and say hi!

Dec 7, 2009

And we woke up to... snow!

Where we are in California, it never snows. So you can imagine how excited my kids were when they looked out the window this morning and saw the top of the swing set...

It wasn't much; just a dusting...

But it was enough for a snowball or two...

And a whole lot of smiles. :)

I hope you all have a great day! Mike and I are heading to SF, but I'll be back around here soon, with pictures of the book launch and signing. If you're in the Bay Area, I hope you'll stop by and say hi! (details here)

Talk soon,

Lucky you! My kids have been dying for some snow, we've only had flurries.

How cool for you! We are in Illinois, so we get a LOT of snow. We've already had some the past few days. However, that's probably one of the reasons my big brother moved to San Diego years ago....the winters here are looong!!! But I wouldn't have it any other way, I love our change of seasons! Enjoy your little bit of winter!

How fun! That's more snow than we have in Minnesota -- but that will change by the end of the day. Blizzard in the forecast. blech

Yeah! We are in a winter storm warning right now... so we should get lots of snow!

Wish I could come see you for your book signing... that would be awesome! Have fun!

Blessings-

I know! We had a snow dusting this past Friday. It was so nice. And we also had snow last year. I am beginning to wonder what in the world is going on with Southeast Texas! Have fun in SF!

Our local news up here in Vancouver, BC even reported about your snowfall!

Have a great time at the book signing!

That is always so fun... especially when you never get snow! Enjoy it!

How exciting! That is the best kind of snow. Not too much to linger around and get slushy, but enough to make things white and pretty :)

Definitely monumental. Glad the kids got the chance to enjoy the snow before it melted!

How fun! We woke up to snow yesterday...but lots of it...and blowing, drifting and COLD, as well! But then, we're in Minnesota...that's how it SHOULD be here. You, however, not so much!
Hope it was fun while it lasted!

That must have been so exciting for you! We haven't even had snow here that I know of, but I was gone for a week so who knows!

I'm so bummed I didn't stop by to see the details of the launch sooner! I'd totally have come to see you (good excuse to do some Christmas shopping in the city!).

I hope it went great. We'll catch up to each other for real one of these days!
