Hi Genny. As you know I'm the blessed mom of 3 beautiful girls ages 8,10,& 13. We have a rule in our house that everyday we tell all the girls we love them, sometimes a lot more than once. And we hug & kiss our girls everyday no matter what. Somehow no matter how bad things are, by telling your children you love them and showing them through physical contact, life just seems more precious.
Hi Genny, I just saw your blog on your trip to see your parents and I just had to comment; they look fabulous and I'm happy to see them doing so well. I remember them being so active in your lives all through our school years and they are truly a testament to the rewards that good parenting reaps. Send them my regards and the best to you and your family. Warmly, Kellie (Greer) Kemp

I'm glad you're here! Pour a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and stay a while. Let's talk about parenting, friendship, and those things that happen in our lives that make us laugh, cry, or take our breath away. Let's share our successes and challenges. Let's swap recipes, writing tips, encouragement, and inspiration. I look forward to getting to know you!
